Reward offered for information regarding Hastings shooting
A reward is now being offered for information which can lead the arrest of a person(s) responsible for the death of Jason Charles Reuter.
The Hastings Police Department is seeking additional information from the public in last week’s murder of Reuter. Reuter was shot and killed shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. Hastings Police responded to a report of shots at 1226 Eddy Street. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension continues to work with Hastings Police on the investigation.
Crime Stoppers of MN is offering up to a $1,000 reward for the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the murder. Anyone with information can call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may remain anonymous.
The public can also leave an anonymous tip with the Hastings Police Department at 651-480-2300 or by texting the word Hastings and the information you wish to share to 847411 (tip411).
The Reuter family is also offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case, according to an ad the family placed in this week’s paper. Information should be provided to the police department.
