Regina Auxiliary Annual Fall Bazaar
The Regina Medical Center Auxiliary’s annual fall bazaar will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, in the chapel lobby area at the Regina Medical Center, 1175 Nininger Road in Hastings. The bazaar will include a silent auction and raffle drawings; a garage sale; country store and bake sales; bingo and charitable gambling; face painting; cake walk; children’s games; grab bags; door prizes; refreshments and live entertainment.
Prizes donated by local businesses for the raffle drawing include Minnesota Wild Tickets; a golf package; two $200 cash prizes; many $100 cash drawings; Chamillia necklace; hotel suite stay; plus many more prizes and gift certificates. The grand raffle drawing tickets are $1 each and are available from auxiliary members or at the Regina gift shop, Country Store and at all auxiliary events, including the day of the bazaar. The drawing for prizes will be held at the bazaar at 3:30 p.m. The silent auction will close at 3 p.m. Winners need not be present to win. Four other raffle drawings are being held as part of this year’s bazaar: a 40” Sharp flat-panel Aquos TV, donated by Kraus Anderson Construction; a 100”x100” Queen-size quilt made by Kathy Horsch and quilted by Peggy Knoll; an autographed New York Rangers hockey jersey signed and donated by Hastings native Derek Stephan who wears No. 21 for the Rangers; and the fourth item is a wooden child’s motorcycle rocking horse made and donated by Joe Brochman. Tickets for the raffles are $2 each or three for $5 and are available at the Regina gift shop, Country Store or at all auxiliary events including the day of the Bazaar.
Shuttle bus service will be available from the Allina Medical Clinics parking lots to the chapel lobby area.
The auxiliary will use all proceeds from the bazaar for projects to benefit the residents and patients at the Regina Medical Center. Included in the projects to be supported this year are the nursing home remodeling and transitional care construction project and providing two scholarships for graduating high school seniors who will be entering the medical profession.
