LEGAL PUBLIC BID NOTICE
For the provision of Road
Maintenance and Snow Removal
Services to Ravenna Township:
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids, for the provision of general road maintenance and grading services of 34.10 miles of township roads, contract date 7/22/2014 to 7/21/2017, will be received by the Ravenna Township Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014. Bids received after the above said date and time will be returned to the bidder unopened. The Ravenna Town Board of Supervisors will open bids at the Town Board Meeting as an agenda item Thursday, May 8, 2014 that begins at 7:30 p.m. The bid will be awarded at the June 12, 2014 town board meeting.
Bid forms, general specifications, and road information must be obtained by contacting the township clerk. Bids must be submitted sealed, with the envelope clearly marked on the outside, as in accordance to the bid specifications of Ravenna Township.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified bank letter of credit directed to Ravenna Township, Dakota County, Minnesota in the amount of $75,000.00, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified and at the bid price.
The township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or technicalities in bidding, and to determine whether a bid is responsive or non-responsive. The township Board of Supervisors further reserves the right to make a bid award to the lowest and most responsible bidder as determined by the Town Board of Supervisors.
