Raiders start season with a 5-2 win

The Hastings boys hockey team got the season started on the right foot Saturday, facing off against Farmington and walking away with a 5-2 win. It was the first time Hastings has played Farmington since the 1980s, said coach Russ Welch.

"I like the way our kids played," Welch said. "I liked the way they moved their feet and moved the puck."
