Everything came together on Tuesday night for the Hastings boys basketball team.

The Raiders beat White Bear Lake here, 68-58.

It was a big night for Craig Nielsen, who led the charge with 19 points. Joe Dittrich had 16.

It was just the fourth Suburban East Conference win of the season for Hastings. The Raiders are now 4-13 in the league and 7-18 overall.

White Bear Lake is now 7-10 in the SEC.

East Ridge continues to lead the SEC standing. They are 15-2. Cretin-Derham Hall is 14-3 and Woodbury is 13-4.

Hastings had nine players score in all. Here’s the rest of the scoring: Zach Wiese, seven; Ross Dylla, two; Alex Zuzek, three; Sam Skoyen, nine; Drew Pottinger, six; Brady Gullicks, four; and Josh Brown, two.

Hastings plays host to Mounds View on Friday night at 7:15 p.m.

Vs Stillwater

Hastings lost a close game to Stillwater on Friday night, 78-73. Hastings trailed 40-30 at halftime, but came back in the second and outscored Stillwater 43-38, but it wasn’t enough.

Skoyen had a big night for the Raiders, scoring 21 points to lead the way. Drew Pottinger had 16 and Joe Dittrich had 16.

Also scoring were: Christian Bronner, two; Dylla, seven; Carson Whyle, three; Gullicks, one; and Nielsen, seven.

Stillwater is now 8-9 in league play.
