The Hastings boys basketball team is now 1-1 on the season after a 77-38 loss to the Farmington Tigers on Friday night.

Farmington outscored Hastings 38-20 in the first half.

In the second half, Hastings was outscored 39-18.

Sam Skoyen led Hastings offensively with 20 points.

Ross Dylla had 8, Craig Nielsen had 6, Drew Pottinger had 2 and Joe Dittrich had 2.

Farmington, meanwhile, had three players in double figures and seven players with five points or more.

Hastings returns home Saturday night for a 7:15 p.m. game against Red Wing.
