Raider wrestlers beat Farmington, Stillwater
Wrestling meets don’t start much worse than how last week’s between Hastings and Farmington started.
The Raiders actually began the meet trailing 3 to -1 after a Hastings wrestler got a poor sportsman call against him to start the match.
Spencer Kopp won at 113 pounds for Hastings to make the score 2-3, but more bad news followed.
At 120 pounds, another Hastings wrestler got a poor sportsman call against him after a loss. That left the score at 6-1 in favor of Farmington.
Hastings wrestlers then lost by fall at 126 pounds and 132 pounds, leaving the score at 18-1.
Sounds pretty bleak, right?
Well, things all started to change at 138 pounds when Luke Rowh took the mat.
He won by fall at 3:24 to turn momentum in favor of the Raiders. Hastings won the final nine matches on the night and won going away, 40-18.

Jake Johnson won 4-1 at 160 pounds.
