Prescott bridge reopens after rollover

PRESCOTT -- A rollover accident on the Hwy. 10 bridge at Prescott temporarily closed the highway as police and emergency personnel assisted a woman injured in the crash.

Authorities were notified of the accident, said to be just onto the Minnesota side of the crossing, at about 7:50 a.m.

The woman reportedly suffered a serious hand injury and she was transported directly to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

Two children were also in the vehicle but all were able to escape the vehicle without help from rescuers.

A paramedic and ambulance crew from River Falls responded, along with Prescott Ambulance and fire personnel.

One lane reopened about 8:10 a.m. and the Minnesota State Patrol was said to be on the scene as well.

More details will be posted when they become available.
