Preschooler leads the way in fundraiser
Lori Jackson of Catholic United Financial presented preschool student Piper Brockman with a Kindle Fire e-reader after a recent all-school Mass. Piper sold the most $5 raffle tickets from a large number of St. John the Baptist preschool through grade 5 students, teachers, parents, and school staff who raised $10,250.00 for the school. Every dollar raised was returned to the Vermillion school. The school took part in the annual Catholic United Financial fundraiser that raised $923,635 for Catholic schools in Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota.
