Police report preview - Sept. 28 to Oct. 4

Here is a preview of this week's police report. The complete report can be seen on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

• Suspicious activity in a parking lot of a convenience store in south Hastings led to a DWI arrest Sept. 29. The driver of the vehicle was seen getting out of his vehicle, running around the back of the building and urinating. He admitted to having a few drinks. A 26-year-old Hastings man was arrested.

• A cat attacked a man and his dog in the 200 block of Second Street at 12:57 p.m. on Oct. 2.

The man kicked the cat numerous times to get it off his dog. The cat then scratched the man’s legs before it ran away.

• A person inside a bar in the 300 block of Second Street was consuming the drinks of other people after he was cut off on Oct. 3. Officers were called.

They escorted the man out and took him home.

• An underage drinking party led to three citations at 9:49 p.m. in the 900 block of Sixth Street Oct. 4.

One of the three fled and was charged with that, too.

Two 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old were cited.
