Police report preview - March 8 to March 14

Here is a preview of this week's police report. The entire report can be seen on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

March 10

• Two juveniles were reportedly smoking marijuana at a school in the 1000 block of 11th Street at 9:48 a.m.

Officers responded and cited the two for marijuana-related charges.

• An intoxicated customer seeking sustenance at a burrito restaurant in the 1700 block of Frontage Road was reported.

Officers responded and learned the man had two misdemeanor warrants out for his arrest. He was arrested on those warrants.

March 11

• An out-of-control juvenile was reported at a school in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive. Officers took the juvenile male home. He was cited for disorderly conduct, possession of tobacco, property damage and obstruction.

Chad Richardson is the news director for RiverTown Multimedia. He was the publisher of four RiverTown publications until 2016, when he was named news director. He was previously general manager of the Farmington Independent and Rosemount Town Pages from 2000 to 2007. He worked at the Hastings Star Gazette from 1996 to 2000 as a photographer and reporter. He also worked as a photographer and writer at the Pope County Tribune in Glenwood.
