Police report preview - March 15 to March 21

Here is this week's police report preview. The entire report can be found on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

•Two vehicles had eggs thrown at them in the 800 block of Seventh Street. Eggs were thrown at four vehicles in the 1900 block of Oak Street. The activity occurred late March 16 or early March 17.

• An Easter candle valued at $16 was stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Fifth Street.

• The window of a vehicle was broken out in parking lot of the YMCA on Wednesday, March 19. A woman had run inside to pick up her child. When she returned five minutes later, she saw the window had been broken and her purse had been taken.

The case is under investigation.

• A suspicious person was reported outside a home in the 3400 block of Cannon Street on Thursday, March 20.

An intoxicated juvenile male was found in the back yard.

The juvenile was taken into custody, cited for underage consumption and a curfew violation. He was then transported to his home, where his mother agreed to care for him.
