Police report preview - July 1 to July 6

Here is a preview of this week's police report. The entire report can be found on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

• A 14-year-old male was arrested for a series of activities on July 1.

The individual was arrested for vehicle theft and for fleeing from police on foot. He was also cited for a curfew violation. The male was referred to juvenile court.

• Two males were caught shoplifting from Walmart at 5:35 p.m. on July 3.

Officers responded and arrested the two for stealing Minnesota Twins jerseys. The pair returned the jerseys at the service counter and exchanged them for gift cards.

• At 1:36 a.m., a man reportedly walked into a stranger's apartment in the 500 block of 18th Street, then realized he was in the wrong building and left.

The person was reportedly highly intoxicated and falling over. The subject was located and transported to the Ramsey County detox facility.

The 21-year-old Hastings man had a BAC of .19.
