Police report preview - Feb. 16 to Feb. 21

Here is this week's police report preview. The entire report can be found on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

• A suspicious and sleeping male was found in the entry way of an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Bahls Drive on Feb. 20

Officers arrived and found the man. They woke him up from his slumber and he was identified and arrested on a warrant. He was transported to a juvenile detention center.

Officers were called at 12:40 a.m.

• Shopflifting was reported in the 200 block of 33rd Street at 12:56 p.m. Officers cited one person.

A man was seen entering the store and asking for a lobster. He walked around the store for a period of time, then left the store without paying after putting it in a shopping bag.

He was stopped outside by the store's security personnel.

He said he realized he hadn't paid for the lobster, but said he was too lazy to go all the way back in and pay for it.
