Police report preview - Aug. 25 to Aug. 31

Here is a preview of this week's police report. The entire report can be found on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

• A 14-year-old juvenile was cited for taking $4 in change from a money box at a store in the 200 block of 33rd Street.

• An intoxicated man was reportedly out ringing doorbells in the 900 block of Seventh Street. He was located and transported to detox. The call came in at 2:24 a.m.

• Two adults were caught shoplifting at a store in the 200 block of 33rd Street. Both were cited for theft after attempting to take grocery and deli items worth about $30.

Chad Richardson

Chad Richardson is the news director for RiverTown Multimedia. He was the publisher of four RiverTown publications until 2016, when he was named news director. He was previously general manager of the Farmington Independent and Rosemount Town Pages from 2000 to 2007. He worked at the Hastings Star Gazette from 1996 to 2000 as a photographer and reporter. He also worked as a photographer and writer at the Pope County Tribune in Glenwood.
