Pine Harbor students pray for others at the flag pole
Pine Harbor Christian Academy students gathered Wednesday morning in front of their school North of Hastings to pray together. Students took their regular weekly morning Chapel prayer and praise time outdoors to gather under the flag poles and join the millions of other students nationwide in a special time of prayer for their schools, communities, state and nation as part of the “See You at the Pole” movement.
“This was a great way to help students to live out their faith,” said Principal Scott Urban. “Taking time to think of others and pray for other students helps them get a global mindset.”
“See You at the Pole” is a global event held on the fourth Wednesday of every September. It started at a Texas school in 1990. More than two million students typically gather each year for the event.
