Perpetual Motion wins the first 3 optional meets

The Optional Junior Olympic Gymnastics season has started out strong for Perpetual Motion.

The first meet was Winterfest in January, followed by the Classic Invitational, and finally the gymnasts competed in the Tropical Twist Feb. 22. The Level 7 took 1st place in all meets this year! The level 8 team took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The level 9 team also took 3rd. The level 10 team is also winning. Optional gymnasts are level 7-10, with 10 being the top level prior to collegiate gymnastics!

Level 8 gymnast, Jasmine Tverberg, won 1st All-Around at Winterfest by achieving 2nd on bars and beam, and 1st on floor. Jasmine also won 1st AA at Tropical Twist with 2nd on beam and bars. She also took 3rd AA at the Classic Meet with 1st on beam and 3rd on bars.

Level 6 gymnast Michelle Trumble won 1st on vault at her last meet of the season, Winterfest. This meet also introduced some new Level 5 Perpetual Motion gymnasts. Madeline McCabe won 3rd on bars and 4th All-Around. Hannah Hubbart won 4th on beam.
