Pedestrian killed along Highway 50 near New Trier
A fatal crash involving a pedestrian occurred Monday, Sept. 26, on Highway 50 east of Hampton, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash apparently was reported slightly before 6:30 a.m. just west of Goodwin Avenue. According to the state patrol, it appears a female pedestrian was crossing Highway 50 when she was struck and killed by a vehicle driving westbound on the highway. It was still dark at the time of the crash. The woman has been identified as Alonza C. Raway, 76, of Hampton. The driver was Mark Coulter, 56, of Hastings. According to the report, Raway crossed in front of Coulter's vehicle.
