The voting locations are as follows: Ward 1, Precinct 1, those who live in Washington county - the ballots are mailed to them

Ward 1, Precinct 2 -- Hastings City Hall, 101 E. Fourth St.

Ward 1, Precinct 3 -- Hope Lutheran Church, 16898 Michael Ave. (new, this year only).

Ward 2, Precinct 1 -- St. John's Lutheran Church, 202 W. Eighth St. (new).

Ward 2, Precinct 2 -- Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.

Ward 3, Precinct 1 -- Hastings Middle School auditorium, 100 W. 11th St. (new)

Ward 3, Precinct 2 -- United Methodist Church, 615 W. 15th St.

Ward 4, Precinct 1 -- St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 1401 W. 15th St.

Ward 4, Precinct 2 -- Knights of Columbus Hall, 3075 Vermillion St.

The change in Ward I Precinct 3, is being made for this year only. The usual location, the Hastings National Guard Amory, is having some renovations done this summer and there was no guarantee the building would be ready for the November general election, according to assistant city administrator Melanie Mesko Lee. Voters in this precinct will use Hope Lutheran Church for both the primary election and general election

The other two changes are being made due to space restrictions at former polling locations. Bother former sites - Shepherd of the Valley - and Pleasant Hill Library - worked well, but with increased voter turnouts, were experiencing some space constraints.

Those who are uncertain which ward they live in should check the Secretary of State's precinct finder at http://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us, or call Hastings City Hall at 651-480-2350.

These polling places may be different than the races for school board elections. Voters are encouraged to verify their polling places before going to the polls.
