A Children's Hospital spokesperson announced Thursday afternoon Scott Meyer is expected to return home today (Thursday) with his family.

Bjorn Gunnerud said the five-year-old is stable and doing well. He was treated for dehydration along with the multiple bug bites he sustained when he was outside for 22 hours until he was found Wednesday.

Meyer went missing Tuesday morning from the Town of Oak Grove home. Police agencies, volunteers, fire and ambulance crews from Minnesota and Wisconsin joined in the search until he was found Wednesday morning. He was taken by Ambulance to the St. Paul facility.
