Letter: Thanks to the angel in the parking lot
To the editor,
On Thursday, Nov. 7, I spent a grueling time in a dental chair, then ran a couple errands and ended up grocery shopping for two hours at Cub Foods.
Wheeling my loaded grocery cart out into the daylight saving time early night, I proceeded to my car trunk. In the darkness, I fumbled around trying to unlock the trunk. To my tired body’s surprise a lovely, blond young lady appeared and offered to help unload and load the heavy bags into my trunk. Her generous gesture not only eased the physical stress on my old aching body, but her act of pure kindness gave my spirits a heartwarming boost!
Thank you, whoever you are, dear Angel in darkness!
