LeDuc estate hosts talents of local artists

There will be something for everyone for holiday shopping at the Hastings Artists’ Show, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 2 to Nov. 10, at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion St. The show is free and open to the public. There will be no guided tours of the mansion.

Among the artists displaying their work which will be for sale are Fran Jauquet, Beth Bacon, Mel Agen, Al Todnem, Diana Langenfeld, Art Nordstrom, Sue Carlson, Andy Hill, Erica Reiff, Gerie Thelen, Marion Anderson, Dale Lewis, Connie Misener, Mecca Manz, Jean Humes and Susan Zinschlag.

In addition, the new cookbook, Cooking with Hazel and Friends, prepared by the Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings, will be available for sale for $12.84. The proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go towards the re-do of the catering kitchen at LeDuc and will be called “Hazel’s Kitchen.”

Chad Richardson

Chad Richardson is the news director for RiverTown Multimedia. He was the publisher of four RiverTown publications until 2016, when he was named news director. He was previously general manager of the Farmington Independent and Rosemount Town Pages from 2000 to 2007. He worked at the Hastings Star Gazette from 1996 to 2000 as a photographer and reporter. He also worked as a photographer and writer at the Pope County Tribune in Glenwood.
