Lacrosse season already well under way

The Hastings lacrosse season is moving quickly, with the Raiders already notching four matches in their first week of play.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, none of the matches have resulted in the program’s first win.

Hastings lost to Owatonna to open the season, 20-3.

Megan Shoen had two goals and Amy McNamara had one for the Raiders. Jenna Kasel had an assist.

Hastings then faced Rosemount on Saturday and lost, 17-1. Mikaela Leifeld had the Hastings goal.

Hastings lost to Farmington Monday, 15-2.

Leifeld had one goal and Ryley Berzinski had the other.

The fourth game of the week came Tuesday night against Eagan, and Hastings fell 16-8.
