Keena surpasses 1,000 point mark in game against Woodbury

Liz Keena is congratulated by teammates after surpassing the 1,000-point mark in her Hastings basketball career.

Hastings High School senior Liz Keena did it. The HHS senior scored 13 points in Thursday night's game against Woodbury and now has 1,002 for her career.

Keena will continue her basketball career next year at North Dakota State University.

Hastings lost the game to Woodbury.

She is just the fourth player in HHS history to reach 1,000 career points, joining Erin Ditty, Amber Wirth and Kathryn Reuter.

Hastings plays host to Farmington on Thursday, Feb. 10.
