HHS ties Roseville, 3-3

The Hastings boys hockey team settled for a 3-3 tie with the Roseville Raiders on Saturday.

Hastings is now 4-5-1 on the season.

Roseville took a 1-0 lead in the first period, just 3:44 into the game.

Hastings got a goal just seven seconds in the second period to tie up the score. Mark Huneke scored on the power play, assisted by Blake Berg.

Roseville took the lead back at 4:18, but Hastings added a goal with just 32 seconds left in the period to tie it back up at 2-2. Ryan Tix scored the Hastings goal, assisted by Austin Houska.

In the third period, Roseville took the lead back at 2:19. Hastings tied it at 3:42 on a goal by Matt Flynn, assisted by Huneke and Mike Junker.

Matt Radke played in goal for the Raiders. He made 41 saves on 44 shots.

Hastings had 36 shots on goal.
