HHS boys runners take ninth at Mayo
The Hastings boys cross country team finished ninth out of 22 teams at the annual Rochester Mayo Invitational last week.
"Our guys are running as a real solid group," Hastings coach John Dewall said. "They're all pretty close together, and that makes a huge difference. If you can put seven guys pretty close together, you're going to score some solid points.
"If everybody can pick it up and cuts a minute, we are in the top three. There's definitely a lot of potential in this team."
