Hastings man charged with selling meth
A 26-year-old Hastings man faces a charge of controlled substance crime in the third degree after he allegedly sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant Jan. 9 in Inver Grove Heights.
According to the criminal complaint, the CI informed a member of the Dakota County Drug Task Force that the CI could purchase the drug from a unidentified male. The drug buy was arranged for Jan. 9, with the CI being provided government buy-fund money, a listening device and a recording device.
About three weeks later, the drug task force agent met with the CI, who identified Kurt Matthew Baker from a photo lineup.
The suspected drug purchase tested positive for 3.16 grams of methamphetamine.
