Hastings man arrested after drug task force finds him with 81 pounds of marijuana
A 34-year-old Hastings man, Gregory Brian Spakow, faces a charge of controlled substance crime in the second degree after the Dakota County Drug Task Force executed a warrant at his residence and discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to the complaint, the drugs were apparently part of a delivery of 81 pounds of marijuana delivered to the residence Jan. 17. The Drug Task Force had monitored the delivery. A confidential informant gave the delivery to Spakow. An unknown male took the drugs to a shed on the property.
A short time later, the warrant was executed. Inside the residence, agents located two plastic bags containing a green leafy substance, a metal grinder and cash. In one of the outbuildings, agents located four duffel bags containing many packages of suspected marijuana, a green leafy substance in a freezer, a shotgun and seven cell phones.
