When the game resumed, the Cardinals had a big task in front of them. Randolph had loaded the bases with nobody out when the game was postponed.

Hampton got out to a 2-0 lead when Ryan Giefer hit a two-run home run. The Cardinals added two more runs, then player/manager Rob Giefer came to the plate and knocked in two more with a single to center.

Rick Wagner was the Hampton pitcher.

If the Cardinals beat Randolph on Wednesday, they'll play Thursday night at 8 p.m. against Cannon Falls.

If Hampton lost Wednesday, they'll play at 8 p.m. Friday.

Hampton has an 8-14 record on the season and a 5-9 mark in league play.
