H1N1 flu vaccine clinic planned here
Dakota County Public Health has scheduled an H1N1 flu vaccine clinic from 11:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at the Dakota County Administrative Center in Hastings.
The clinic is open to the following regardless of residency in the county: All pregnant women; all infants and children 6 months to 24 years old; people ages 25 to 64 who have chronic health problems; all health care workers and emergency medical services personnel; caregivers and household contacts of infants younger than 6 months of age; and infants and children who are now due for their second dose of H1N1 vaccine (must be at least four weeks since first dose).
Appointments are necessary for the clinic and can be made by calling 438-4777.
There is no charge for the vaccine, but those attending should bring their insurance card with them so that their health plan can be billed for the administrative fee.
