H1N1 clinics scheduled, including one in Hastings
Dakota County has received additional supplies of the H1N1 vaccine and people 6 months to 64 years old can be vaccinated at Dakota County Clinics. People 65 and older who care for an infant younger than 6 months can also be vaccinated.
Dakota County Public Health has scheduled additional clinics in the county, including Hastings.
Clinics for which appointments are necessary are scheduled at the following times and dates: 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 21 and Dec. 28, Western Service Center, Apple Valley; noon to 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28, Hastings Administrative Center; and 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, Northern Service Center, Mendota Heights.
To make an appointment, call 438-4777 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Walk-in clinics are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at both the Western Service Center and the Northern Service Center.
There is no charge for the vaccines, but bring your insurance card with you, so that your insurance company can be billed for the administration fee. Allow five to 10 minutes to complete the forms.
