Ellen Bergschneider shot a personal best score of 44 to help the Hastings Raiders earn another solid score during a meet at Highland National Golf Course. Hastings ended up with a team score of 202, thanks to solid play from Taylor Thoreson (52), Lexie Harp (53) and Hannah Hoffman (53). Also playing varsity were Jordy Klimek (55) and Sadie Karbo (61).


Hastings is now preparing for the section tournament, which began this morning (Thursday) at Phalen.


Hastings played at the 18-hole Dakota County Invitational Friday afternoon at Emerald Greens. The Raiders placed seventh out of 12 teams with a 396.

Thoreson led the Raiders with a 93. Bergschneider had a 96, Karbo had a 102, Lindsey Bauer had a 105, Hoffman had a 113 and Josie Stepan had a 126.

North Oaks

Hoffman led the Raiders Monday with a 49 at North Oaks. Thoreson had a 51, Karbo had a 52, and Bergschneider had a 54 to round out the scoring. Also competing were Klimek (58) and Harp (59).

Hastings had a 206.
