Fr. Altier is no longer the chaplain at Regina Medical Center; Archdiocese says he is in good standing and will be reassigned
Hastings Minnesota 745 Spiral Boulevard 55033

Father Robert Altier is no longer the chaplain at Regina Medical Center in Hastings.

According to Joseph Kueppers, the chancellor for civil affairs for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Altier is in good standing with the archdiocese. Kueppers said that the reasons Altier is no longer at Regina is because the new owners “want someone different there.”

“I can confirm he’s in good standing with the archdiocese,” Kueppers said. “He’ll be getting a new assignment in due course. We’re in the process of getting him another assignment.”

Allina Health is full owner of the Regina Medical Center. Catholic-based Benedictine Health System is acquiring full ownership of Regina’s senior living services from Allina Health in January.
