Four injured in single-vehicle crash Sunday

Four people were transported to the trauma center at Regions Hospital in St. Paul Sunday after a car crash on 190th Street.

The crash involved a single vehicle driven by a juvenile male on 190th Street between Hogan and Goodwin avenues at about 12:50 p.m. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a driveway embankment, causing it to become airborne for about 65 to 70 feet, according to responders. The vehicle rolled in a cornfield, ejecting one of the four occupants.

One person was airlifted to Regions. The other three were transported to the same hospital by ambulance.

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office responded with the Minnesota State Patrol and the Hastings Fire Department. Hastings police assisted at the scene and mutual aid was given by the Miesville Fire Department and HealthEast Ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
