New Richmond, Wis., man charged with kidnapping two women in Afton

Dakota County Receiving Center plans celebration

The Dakota County Receiving Center in Hastings has planned a community celebration to raise awareness for its services. The event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at the Schaar’s Bluff Gathering Center.

The fee for admission is $25, which is tax deductible.

DCRC houses a detox center, a sober living facility and they provide services and treatment for adult men who are enduring mental health crises and chemical dependency.

Staff members from DCRC will be on hand to talk more about the facility and its services.

Tickets are available at the door.

Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and live music will be provided.
