Customer grumbles about self-checkout, slaps employee on the back
At 3:43 p.m. Jan. 4, an employee at a business in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard reported he was slapped on the back by a customer.
The customer was having problems at a self-checkout and became irritated. Because the machine wasn't working the way the man wanted, the clerk went over to assist. When he did, the man said that "people were losing their jobs to computers."
The man said "Good luck," then slapped the clerk on his back and walked out of the store.
