County responds to five crashes Monday morning

This was one of the five crashes early Monday morning near Hastings.

Over about an hour Monday morning (at approximately 7:30 a.m. Dec. 19) Dakota County deputies responded to five crashes in the Hastings area, three of them on County Road 46. No one was seriously injured and the crashes were all one-vehicle crashes, according to Sgt. Bruce Kammen.

The crashes on County Road 46 were reported near Hogan, Goodwin and Fisher avenues. The two other crashes were reported near Randolph and near Highway 316 south of Hastings.

The road conditions at the time were slick, due to frost on the surfaces.
