Hastings High School senior Treya Connell pitched a no-hitter and the Hastings softball team cruised to a 10-0 win over Rochester Century in the first round of the section tournament Wednesday night here.

It's the third straight no-hitter for Connell.

The game went five innings and ended when Britt Robinson scored from second base.

Hastings will play in the second round at 5 p.m. Friday in Austin.
