City plans vehicle auction for Saturday, May 11
On Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. until noon, the City of Hastings will hold a public auction of seized, surplus and abandoned bicycles, property and vehicles.
Three vehicles being sold are DWI vehicle forfeitures along with two city-owned police vehicles that were taken out of service and authorized for sale by the city council. The vehicles may be inspected on May 11, 2013, beginning at 9 a.m.
The auction will be held at the former Hudson Manufacturing building, located at 200 West Second St.
The following property/vehicles are slated for auction:
Approximately 100 bicycles of varying make, models and condition
Miscellaneous surplus/unclaimed property - office furniture, etc.
1999 Ford Windstar Van - 111,000 miles.
2004 Ford Ranger, 4x4, XLT - 117,000 miles.
2002 Ford Expedition, 4x4 - 88,000 miles (black & white).
2009 Ford Crown Victoria - Police Interceptor - 92,000 miles (black & white).
All sales are final with bicycles, property and vehicles being sold "as is."
