NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VELMEIR COMPANIES - PROPOSED CVS PHARMACY
BLOCK 7, TRIPPS ADDITION
14th STREET, VERMILLION STREET, 15TH STREET AND SIBLEY STREET
Notice is hereby given that the Hastings Planning Commission will meet in a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 26, 2013 in the City Council Chambers located in Hastings City Hall, 101 Fourth Street East, Hastings, Minnesota to consider the following request of Velmeir Companies to construct a CVS Pharmacy on a city block bounded by 15th Street, Vermillion Street, 14th Street, and Sibley Street.
1)Comprehensive Plan Amendment - Reguide property generally located at 118 East 14th Street from Medium Density Residential to Commercial. The property is legally described as Lot 1, and the north six feet of Lot 2, Block 7, TRIPPS ADDITION, Dakota County, Minnesota. The property is owned by Darlene L Mamer.
2)Rezone property generally located on the east half of Block 7 from R-3, Medium Density Residence to C-3 Community Regional Commerce. The property is legally described as Lots 1-5, Block 7, TRIPPS ADDITION, Dakota County Minnesota. The property is owned by Darlene L Mamer; Rickey D & Susan M Downs; Donald D Christenson; Christine A Schaffer; B Investments; and Daniel M & Samantha Boyd.
3)Preliminary and Final Plat of TRIPPS 2ND ADDITION consisting of one lot. Site Plan Review to construct a +/- 13,000 s.f. CVS Pharmacy Building. The property is legally described as Block 7, TRIPPS ADDITION, Dakota County, Minnesota. The property is owned by Darlene L Mamer; Rickey D & Susan M Downs; Donald D Christenson; Christine A Schaffer; B Investments; Daniel M & Samantha Boyd, Gilbert M Lunning; and L Gerald Fair.
Before the date of the public hearing, persons may contact the Hastings Planning Department between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday with any questions. All persons are welcome to attend this hearing and make comment.
