Child endangerment is charged against Hastings man for playing 'baby animals'

Hastings Police have charged Chad Henry Christie, 37, Hastings, with two felony counts of endangerment of a child. According to the criminal complaint filed in the Dakota County Attorney's office, a child reported he had played a game called "baby animals" -- his father had him "suck on his nipples." The child's older sibling also reported the same behavior.

In a meeting with police and a social worker at the Hastings Police Department, Christie admitted he sometimes plays "baby animals" and he had both children suck on his nipples. He denied that he had them do it for any sexual purpose.

According to the complaint, both children are receiving counseling.
