O'Connor's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and Benjamin Franklin have added a third entity for in-home service. Mr. Sparky Electrical has officially opened its doors to begin service for homeowners in the Hastings area.
These names began as a small heating, cooling and plumbing business 65 years ago and have grown into two successful brands, with Mr. Sparky becoming the third.
"Adding the electrical side of things has enabled us to be the go-to company for all in-home service needs, general manager Troy Latuff said. "One call does it all."
With a master electrician's experience available, Mr. Sparky service is top-of-the-line, backed with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. In addition, all employees are drug tested and background checked for the homeowner's safety and peace of mind.
Hastings residents can speak to a live person seven days a week, 24 hours a day to schedule an electrician to visit their home. Mr. Sparky is the nation's first electrical service company to promise "We're on time, you'll see, or the repair is free."

Regina named a 'highest-value' hospital
Regina Medical Center in Hastings has been named on of the 'highest-value' hospitals in the state by Minnesota 2020, a nonpartisan think tank.
The organization examined hospitals across the state. Those hospitals providing the best value with the healthiest outcomes maintained a strong network of primary care physicians that take a holistic, proactive approach to medicine, encourage healthy habits, monitor chronic conditions and provide routine check-ups and immunizations, according to the press release.
The report evaluated quality of care (which includes diagnosis outcomes, mortality rates and patient satisfaction) and value, as measured by Medicare reimbursements, uncompensated care and several other factors. Overall, the release said, for the quality ranking, the margins between positions were sometimes very small, indicating Minnesota hospitals, in general, deliver high quality health care.
