Brandon Thomas Seeger, age 29, of St. Paul, died Dec. 23, 2009, at his home.
Brandon was born March 31, 1980, to Jeff and Phyllis (Zarembinski) Seeger. He graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall High School in 1998. In high school, Brandon was active in wrestling and served as captain of the team.
Brandon had a great love for the martial art of jujutsu and UFC. He received his black belt in jujutsu. Brandon also loved music; he enjoyed listening to many bands and was the drummer for the band 4Ever in high school. Brandon was a fan of NASCAR and also of the Swarm lacrosse team.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas Seeger and Richard Zarembinski; cousin, Jennifer Seeger; uncle, Paul Korkowski.
Brandon loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a favorite among his nephews and younger cousins. Brandon is survived by his parents; brother, Todd (Kim) Seeger; nephews, Zachary (his godson), Kaleb and Jacob Seeger; fiancée, Melissa Cukla; grandparents, Emma Seeger and Dorothy Zarembinski; also by five uncles, eight aunts and many cousins.
The funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. James Perkl, was held Dec. 29 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Hastings, with interment following in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bryan Yanzter, Eric Yantzer, Frank Marchio, Robert Otterness, Michael Seeger and Matt Seeger. Honorary pallbearers were Zachary Seeger, Kaleb Seeger, Jacob Seeger and Cody Fox.
