Body found in rural Dakota County; Sheriff's office seeks help identifying it
The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating the discovery of the body of an adult female on the evening of Saturday, April 5, at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The body was found in a wooded area on Presley Circle north of 175th Street East in Ravenna Township. This location is in rural Dakota County.
At the time the body was discovered by the landowner, it appeared she had been there less than 36 hours.
The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim. The following description may help in her identification: female, possibly Native American, late 20s to early 30s, height 5'6” to 5'8”, 190 pounds, vibrant white teeth, reddish hair with blonde highlights, starfish earrings. She had a vine-shaped tattoo with blue ink across lower back.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause of death and the investigation continues with assistance from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
