Benefit for Mike Frandrup is Saturday, Aug. 18
A benefit for Mike Frandrup will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Stein Haus in Vermillion. A silent auction begins at 2 p.m., with the live auction at 5 p.m. A $10 donation includes admission, food and beverage.
On May 21, Frandrup was admitted to United Hospital in St. Paul, with what was later confirmed to be a congenital vascular malformation in his spinal column, causing him to be paralyzed from the waist down.
Frandrup, his wife Genean, and their children Sadie and Dean recently returned to Vermillion to be close to family and friends and to continue his rehab.
An account in Frandrup's name has been established at the Vermillion State Bank.
Anyone interested in donating items for the auctions may do so from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Stein Haus parking lot.
