Basketball: Hastings girls slip to 0-4 on the season

The 2010-11 season isn't off to a good start for the Hastings girls basketball team. The Raiders have lost their first four games.

The team opened its season with a 44-41 loss to Prescott.

On Friday, Hastings lost to Henry Sibley, 52-39.

On Saturday, the Raiders fell to South St. Paul 48-35.

On Tuesday, Hastings lost to Mahtomedi, 64-59.

In Tuesday's game against Mahtomedi, Liz Keena led the Raiders with 26 points. Mary Haglund had 15 and Emily Daggett had seven. Also scoring were Lexie Harp (four), Jordan Marshall (three), Kelsey Nelson (two) and Kallie Dylla (two).

Chad Richardson

Chad Richardson is the news director for RiverTown Multimedia. He was the publisher of four RiverTown publications until 2016, when he was named news director. He was previously general manager of the Farmington Independent and Rosemount Town Pages from 2000 to 2007. He worked at the Hastings Star Gazette from 1996 to 2000 as a photographer and reporter. He also worked as a photographer and writer at the Pope County Tribune in Glenwood.
