Agatha M. "Aggie" Hoffmann, age 94, of Hastings, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at Trinity Care Center in Farmington.
Agatha was born Feb. 4, 1915, in Vermillion to Mathias and Mary (Kummer) Marshall. She married Frank Hoffmann on Nov. 21, 1942, in Abilene, Texas, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Agatha is survived by her children, Marlene (Marlin) Reinardy of Hampton, Dennis (Ann) of Red Wing, Frank Jr. (Denise) of Kiln, Miss., Colette (Jack) Vandergriff of Vermillion, Lucy Hoffmann of Hastings, Armin (Cindy) of Hastings, and Mary (Paul) Fasbender of Hastings; grandchildren, Brett, Scott, Marla, Tricia, Dan, Mandy, Jamie, Aaron, and Adam; seven great-grandchildren; precious cat "Baby"; also many nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Stan Mader, will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Miesville, with a visitation two hours prior to the service at church. Agatha's grandchildren will be pallbearers. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
