Accident report for the week ending Nov. 28
A passenger vehicle was reported on fire on 215th Street west of Highway 52 at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 23. When firefighters arrived they found the vehicle fully involved in flames. There was no owner or driver on the scene. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
Firefighters responded to a call regarding a vehicle fire in the area of 11730 Point Douglas Drive. The people in a Honda Accord noticed a smell coming from their trunk and pulled over. When they opened the trunk they found burning material, which they removed to the ground. When firefighters arrived, they extinguished the burning material and checked the rest of the car. The fire had not spread, and there were no injuries.
A vehicle in a salvage yard in the 18000 block of Lillehei Avenue caught fire when a spark ignited a fuel tank. The cause of the spark is unknown. There were no injures.
