Georgetown - Wanda Mary Lindsay, 69, of Georgetown, formerly of Hastings, passed away at 2:57 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.

She was born Nov. 20, 1944 in Trumann, Arkansas, a daughter of Raymond W. and Armenda E. West Brigman. She married Delbert E. Lindsay Aug. 19, 1962, in Fairmount, Ill., he survives.

Also surviving are her children: Teresa Jo (Paul) Gaukstad of Jordan, Minn., and James E. Lindsay of Indianapolis; a sister Linda Hinkle of Georgetown; a brother, Carl (Elaine) Brigman of Catlin; four grandchildren, Holden Lindsay, Brian Gaukstad, Armenda (Joey) Trigger, and Kara Lindsay; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie, and Johnny Brigman; and a sister, Arlene Underwood.

Wanda worked as a pharmacy technician at Walmart retiring in 2009. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Nelson-Lucking Post 47 in Hastings, Minn. She enjoyed flower gardening.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at First Baptist Church in Fairmount, with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
