World Bird Sanctuary's Masters of the Sky set

Masters of the Sky will be presented by the World Bird Sanctuary at the Carpenter Nature Center on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3. There will be one-hour programs at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Learn about the fascinating world of raptors and see live hawks, eagles, owls, falcons and vultures up close. Witness the silent flight of a barn owl as its ghostly form glides over the audience. The expert staff and birds of the World Bird Sanctuary travel around the country teaching people about raptors, our environment and what we can all do to protect birds their habitats worldwide. The birds are beautiful and the program is entertaining and educational. Program fee is $10 per person or $7 for "Friends of CNC." Due to the flight demonstrations audience members must remain seated during the program. Please call 651-437-4359 early to RSVP as these programs will sell out.
